  • Please send in a reproduction of a photo of a family member or pet that has passed away for our Day of the Dead altar.
  • Our trip to the farm is scheduled for tomorrow. Don’t forget to pack a bagged lunch for your child and dress warmly for the weather. We will be outside most of the day. If you are coming along to volunteer, please arrive no later than 9 am.
  • Please do not send your child to school in costume on Tuesday.
  • Consider keeping a spare set of clothes for your child in his/her book bag or at school on the closet hook. Accidents can happen on the playground…think mud and sometimes children can have accidents if they don’t make it to the washroom.

READER’S WORKSHOP/Daily 5

We will read All Pigs are Beautiful, Big Chickens, Picking Apples and Pumpkins, Pumpkin Soup, and The Pumpkin Book. We will identify if the books are fiction or non-fiction and sight evidence from the text.
